Shopping Process
1. Purchase of items
You can browse and select the items based on the categories. We offer a selection of Chinese and English children's books for you to choose from.
2. Purchases and billing
Please save the goods you selected into the shopping cart online and continue to select items. Once you have completed your selections, please click the shopping cart on the top right corner of the browser and click ‘Payment’ button to go to the payment page.
3. Completing the form and making payment
Once you have confirmed the items, quantity and value of the items, you can go to the payment page. You can complete ‘customer details’ and ‘payment details’ and then proceed to payment.
4. Payment methods
Payment is processed in real time. We accept payment by credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Unionpay/JCB)、Wechat Pay、FPS、Google Pay、Apple Pay and PayMe. Once we verify your payment, we will proceed your order right away.

5. Completion of order
Once payment is done, the order will be set up, and you will receive an email on the successful purchase of the items.
6. Collection of items in person
Customers must present the purchase emails and collect the items during the designated time and location below. [Collection of items does not apply to charity donation.]

- Opening Hours: 12 noon - 8 pm (10 May: 12 noon - 7 pm )
- Collection Point: 18/F Berkshire House, Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong
Guidance notes on book purchases
· Before you purchase an item, please read carefully to verify the product details and quantity. Once an order has been processed, no amendments are accepted, including cancellation or changes to the order.
· There may be instances where the system itself for the update of the website causes errors in the pricing, discounts or the details of the items. Even when an order has been paid for or confirmed, the organiser reserves the right to amend or cancel an erroneous order without notifications.
· If you have submitted more than one order, the organiser will process each order according to the time the orders are received.
· Book sets are sold at a price of HK$10 per book. Therefore, for a book set of 10, it will cost HK$100.
· The books on the website are sorted and compiled by volunteers. Please accept our apologies if in case of any problems with the compilation.
· The organiser reserves the right not to accept or cancel a purchase.
· The product photos on our website are taken by our volunteers and are used for reference only. Each item is sold as is.

Payment Details
· The following payment cards are accepted for purchases made in our online bookshop: Visa / Mastercard / Amex / Unionpay / JCB / Wechat Pay / FPS / Google Pay / Apple Pay and PayMe.
· The prices of products are shown in HK dollars.
· Other than an email to acknowledge the purchase of items, the organiser is unable to issue any receipts for donations.
Book Collection, Exchange or Refund
· Customers must collect the books in person at the above designated dates and location. No delivery service will be arranged.
· Prior to receiving the books you have ordered, please keep your email confirmation as a proof of purchase.
· We are not responsible for any difficulties in sending emails or in delayed emails to the customers that arise from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customers.
· No refund or exchanges are accepted. When collecting your purchases, please check the books carefully. In the case of any book damages, the organiser may at their discretion offer an exchange of books at the venue, but no refunds will be given.
· For items that are uncollected after the specified dates, the organiser reserves the right to donate them to the community, and do not offer refund under such circumstance.
· All books are not packaged. Please bring your own bag for collection.
· In case of disputes, the organiser reserves the right to come to a decision.

Your donation will help children in need to explore the joy of reading
Other than choosing books for family and friends, shoppers can pledge donation at the online bookshop (priced at HK$20 each), which will be gifted to students in need to redeem quality books, promoting the joy of reading.
Every$20 donation brings 2 books to needy children.
【Things to note】
- There is no upper limit as to the monetary value of charity book vouchers each shopper can buy.
- No receipt will be given for the purchase of charity book vouchers.
